HPTLC and HPLC are most commonly used chromatographic technique, which is powerful analytical determination and validation of several biomarkers. Luteolin is a flavonoid, mostly belongs to class of bioflavonoids and shows antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-tumor properties. To validate and optimize luteolin from herbal formulation and plant extracts using HPTLC and HPLC, several procedures are well defined and results are well validated.
